How is the concept that a player can play well when his team loses so difficult to grasp? I've read posts using the logic "team lost -> all players were bad" time and time again on here. This ain't tennis, there's XI of them out there and sometimes they lose in spite of excellent individual performances.
For a better understanding of the grappling if you're starting from no knowledge at all I'd suggest watching the Gracie Breakdowns from Rener and Ryron. They basically explain what happened in some of the high profile fights.
They are both excellent coaches and so passionate about jiu jitsu (and acai, and coconut water, and vegetables, and belt tying etc) that the videos are addictive.
Has nobody tried tweeting her to ask if she posts here?
If it is legitimately her why haven't I received my complimentary crate of relentless for posting here as well?
Amnesia must be a real burden, even for someone so humble and genuine. Your post where you said "I put you in the 'let's ignore the negatives' camp" was against pigeon holing? You claimed to have put someone in a "camp" based around one negative opinion you have of their mindset.
I'm sure that you're completely right though and for some reason that quote is not a textbook example of pigeon holing and I'm completely missing the point. Good man for putting up with my nonsense.
Other than being a whinging, sourfaced, wooden diving cheater who benefits from questionable calls because he's England captain Stevie G?
Well, other than that he punched some guy in a bar for trying to change the music. Something like that.
It was on BTSport 1 I think. I dunno if they'll reshow it, hopefully they can manage that.
Good card, Faber's performance was the highlight for me. Very impressive against top shelf opposition.
Will we see Okore's debut? I hope so. Based on the footage we've seen from his time with nordelsjaellallend North Zealand he is more than capable of performing against Chelsea.
Fair enough. I put you in the "let's ignore the negatives" camp. My mistake
Or rather than trying to pigeon hole people for making a thread about one of the team's strengths and punctuating with a condescending smiley face you could use this thread to discuss our front 3 and the other thread to discuss the defensive issues.
Using this thread to complain about this thread's existence, and attempting to imply this thread's creation is an attempt to ignore problems rather than just give them a fuller perspective, is a little bit silly I think.
I hope John 'duck feet' Terry plays. I'm sure he will. Gabby and Benteke will get the better of him repeatedly and we just have to hope the ref doesn't come to his rescue. Not sure how we'll stop them from scoring though, they're too good.
A good AM would give us so many more options going forward, not that more options are really a necessity.
PS - Beautiful pose by Bazza there. Surely that raised foot/hand on thigh combo is worth half a million on its own.
That's what I thought until it was pointed out to me that they were doing that instead of cutting away with the entire screen to them pointless shots like they do on other channels. It's still annoying and unnecessary but it's the less shit of the two options.
