They were shite but he's been whipping them in lately, thankfully. Anyway, most of these sites us Opta and their definitions are as follows: Chances Created Assists plus Key passes. Goal Assist The final pass or pass-cum-shot leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. Key Pass The final pass or pass-cum-shot leading to the recipient of the ball having an attempt at goal without scoring. Which means that any old header doesn't count, it has to be an obvious attempt at goal.

Do you know that for a fact or is that a guess? If Benteke wins the header regardless of where he heads it or if he even attempts to direct it goalwards that counts as a chance created for the deliverer? I don't know enough about their system to dispute it but that doesn't sound right.

I agree the stats are flawed but you surely can't have a good enough memory to dispute a stat like that off the top of your head. What totals did you have in mind?

We beat Cardiff and WBA at home as well and drew to Sunderland. Top 4, bottom 4 we can do. It's the other middle 11 we struggle with at home.

Like when it mattered during the run-in during the McLeish season and he offered absolutely nothing you mean? Total myth. The thing that mattered in that run in was the we got rid of that winphobic virus. EA said "tends". You're not being sensationalist enough. Losing to Manchester United away has DOUBLED our chance of relegation! If that doubling were to continue for the remaining 7 games of the season it would mean we'd have a 25.6% chance of relegation!

Seems like the perfect replacement for Sagna at Arsenal. Edit - But obviously I'd love us to sign him. I just don't think we have the clout to fight with Arsenal or spend £6m on a RB when we've got more pressing issues.

The ball does go long too often, but IMO it's been getting better gradually over the season. It was unbearable at times but I feel like we play through the thirds a bit now.
