Lambert needs to take this one. He got it wrong, badly wrong. He has enjoyed much praise for when he gets it right, he needs to step up today and say "yup, my tactics were responsible for that." because they were. Our rollercoaster ride season continues, hey at least its exciting

In the spirit of getting ahead of ourselves. Mindless optimism time. We are 3 games away from qualifying for Europe! I love this little cup run! Lots of things to get excited about.

I am not over being worried yet. But bloody hell this is a good week. I expected zero points from Liverpool, Chelsea & Spurs so we are 3 ahead already. Good times which gives us a nice little cushion. Getting anything against Chelsea is a big ask given their amazing squad but fingers crossed, our confidence should be sky high.

I enjoy his goals. He seems to relish them so much. By the way, after he scored his second at Norwich I heard a chant to the tune "I just cant get enough" was that Weimann based? Couldnt make it out.

That couple of wins is going to become three wins, then four wins needed if we are not careful. You can see the middle of the table already starting to break away. I know it is stating the obvious but we could use a couple of wins this month in the league.

Perfectly legit concerns. We look in a rush ...but out of ideas up front. We need a creative player to sit behind the forwards or even better a forward who can make his own magic.

I am crapping myself again. A 5 point gap is now opening up between us and 13th and it is very likely we will get 0 points out of our next 2 games. I am not looking forward to being in the bottom 3 for the new year, but that looks likely..

For me its close. Wenger is obviously one of the best managers in the world and is clearly someone who can develop players into something very special. On top of that he has had his teams playing some beautiful football over the years. However, he seems very set in his ways and tactically inflexible. Lambert on the other hand has achieved very little and is still a very raw talent. On the other hand I think his best days are ahead of him and he is a very tactically flexible manager.

Unfortunately not beating QPR means even more pressure is on this game. Anything but a win puts us in a very tough spot for the next three games. -
QPR is down imho. I dont see how they can come back now. That leaves two slots up for grabs. One I think will be Reading who look hapless. The other one is a wildcard with us in the mix.

I am unhappy with 4 points. Honestly I expected 6 against these two crap teams. Better than less though I guess. I am also tired of our new status as relegation battlers, I expect Villa to destroy the likes of QPR & Reading. Oddly I am more behind Lambert than ever though. I feel we have a very good manager who is always thinking, perhaps sometimes too much for his own good, but thinking and planning all the time, which makes us unpredictable. I like that.

This is correct, they played well and very hard for their new manager. I am dissapointed with an away point as well (which is progress) but we should not pretend we were the only team playing. QPR were fired up and intense with the crowd really behind them.

I am excited as well. For whatever reason my tail is up and I expect to see our young team tear QPR to shreds. Our players are younger, faster, harder working and more talented. Time to unleash them on the QPR pensioners.
