When was our last winning streak of 5 games, hell 4 games? 2009?

I dont beleive he has such contraints I really dont. I think he has just made some very bad selection calls and tactics. Also the fact we have not made any signings yet I put at Faulkner, Lerner and Lamberts door. He has been given a lot of money already and I think has been given more. Frankly his halo has slipped in my eyes. I am beginning to think we made a mangerial mistake.. again. It absolutley sucks to say this because I have been behind him, but the past few weeks have just been appalling. It sucks to even think that, but the results and performances are just getting harder and harder to forgive

Fans have been rock solid behind the team and Lambert all season. The team has not responded and Lambert has continued to make mistakes. I dont blame any fan who has had enough and wants to vent their anger. It is entirely the clubs fault we are going into this game with no new signings. If we lose then fans are more than entitled to let rip at the poor decision making around the club. If we destroy Southampton similar to how they destroyed us then the team should rightfully enjoy a shower of rose petals upon their heads, I hope thats what will happen. But nobody really beleives we can destroy any premier league team do they? Thats the problem. Jesus I am a negative bastard today Sorry all, but the lack of transfers is really unforgivable.

I say we are similar in quality to the bottom 4, arguably worse quality than QPR. You are right, the table doesnt lie, so how will we feel monday if we lose, can we panic then? How about the week after if we lose again, panic? I was panicked January 1st, I am stunned the club wasnt. Now is the time, while we still can : spend spend spend. This is no time for sober heads and reflective decision making. We are in a heap of trouble and we need to do everything we can think of to fix it. Money, bring back out of favour players, buy lots of new players, change formations, I just want to see change and lots of it.

Sorry mate, I am a Lambert and Lerner supporter but the lack of transfers is ridiculous. We have known for two months what we need. This team has just endured probably the worst 3 weeks of our premier league history? And yet here we are with no signings ten days in? We are not fine, there are not 4 teams worse than us, we are in a heap of trouble and we need to be pressing every panic button we can find. That includes transfers and lots of them.

This is ridiculous. What is the club waiting for? For us to lose another couple of league games?

Agreed. The cup would have been nice but it doesnt matter. Survival does matter.

This is my biggest concern. I genuinely expected at least two midfield signings by now. Our need is urgent, we dont have the luxury of losing more points with the current squad.

He really is a great player to watch though. Very high energy always looking to burst into space. Love him.

No doubt we can (although I happen to rate Holman). Its all about making good signings same as any other club. We have had more than our fair share of duds over the past few years but there is no bar to the level of players we can sign. We can attract and sign internationals and champions league players no problem. Getting the right ones is the tough part.

We attracted two Champions league players last window. Holman & KEA. It is not a problem for a club of our stature. We can attract just about anybody we want to this club assuming we can afford the money. It is getting the right players in that we have struggled with over the past few years.

We are a big club. True we have had a shite few years but never the less we are a big English club. Of course we could attract the like of Lescott. he doesnt seem like a Lambert style signing to me so I doubt it will happen but we should not put ourselves down. Aston Villa are a big club, this relegation battling shite is temporary. We will rise again and it will be a sweet time.
