Bigger gate for sure. But they play in a one team low quality league. I dont want to get into an England/Scotland pissing match , there are a lot of good players and fans up there. But I think it is fair to say that usually the Premier League is considered a step up career wise for a player from the SPL. Champions league football from a middling league is not as big a draw. Benteke walked away from champions league football at Genk to play with us for example.

Why would he go to Celtic versus a Premier League club? No disrespect but outside of getting to play a few Champions League games playing in Scotland even at Celtic is hardly going to further your career.

I was at that game. Bannan played well and had one shot which was like a laser, incredible shot. But.. it was Portland.... I would love to see Bannan & Ireland in MLS, they would do very well. Genuinely dont know if the premier league is for them though...

Did we go through this last summer and it was decided to keep twitter bollocks? Twitter bollocks is most likely all we are going to have for the new few weeks. I would far prefer that than endless speculation from the sports press as to which players we will lose.

We'll see. I think other clubs may offer more money than us so we'll find out how much he "loves" the club. To be fair if Man City came along and offered me good money to support them I would consider it. Sorry lads but I have to think of my fan career. My bigger question is, is Villa going to counter this fictional Man City bid for my fandom??? Admittedly I am crap at chanting but I have a mildly amusing user name, avatar and I can post the occasional gif (pronounced with a G).

Get with the times son. We have a half arsed translation of a single source of him saying he might do whats best for his career!!!! The only logical assumption is we have already sold him to West Brom to play with Loocacky AND at a loss! FFS! Woe is us! Relegated to League 2 next season, book it.

Madrid is a possibility but Dortmund cannot afford his wages. Seriously, they lose players because of this. I see no evidence it is about to change.

What? Are you saying in our current status we are in same position as Liverpool tablewise? Not trying to be harsh, but there are some delusional posts out here... I am saying Liverpool is not a significant step up from us. The gap between the top 5 and the rest of the PL is night and day. They are without question a bigger club than us (sucks to say it but it is true) but he wouldnt gain anything from going there. He would go to a genuinely big club with CL football imho.

Not that worried. Neither Dortmund nor Arsenal will pay him what we will (right now he earns more than Lewandowski let alone after we increase his comp), Liverpool is a mid table club same as us so they are not a serious problem.. The only club that seriously concerns me is Chelsea but happily with Mou coming in we can hope his targets will be Spanish.

I really cannot take us losing our best players AGAIN, particularly one who just arrived FFS. Hopefully all will be good, but I am nervous till then.
