Yeah someone said that the other night to. Always funny that one. Have a beer mate. Its a pre season knock about. We can have a few lols But it just gets so boring. Yep looks to have good awareness and seems to make his mind up about what he's going to do before he receives the ball. Lovely nut-meg too when he created that counter-attack. Yes very tasty. Shame Bowery arsed up Tonevs counter attack, was lovely.

But there is no such valuation it seems - at least not one set by AVFC. In which case, how do you (or anyone else on VT) know what the club will or will not accept? Isn't it all just subjective opinion, with no factual backing? Actually the press , ok Express and Star, are reporting 30 million. But you are right. Nobody outside the club really knows. But regardless there is no point in us trying to convince each other how much he is/isnt worth. I am not Lerner and you are (presumably) not Levy. How the hell would we know?

How do you know? Judging by everyone else's reporting of it. For example for our beloved Matt kendrick it was a simple 'drive forward' by delph. Maybe Delph is on coke? Is that what was meant?

Oh give over. Spurs fans are the same as us. Just want the best players and the best deal for themselves. Its not like what eiter of us think will matter a jot at the end of the day. We shall see. By all accounts Lerner has dug his heels in over this and by all accounts so has Levy. The most likely outcome sounds like no sale to me. We will see.

I honestly don't think that really matters - we were banging on the door of the top four and Barry, Young, and Milner still wanted out. Correct. This self loathing about us being poor little Villa is just nonsense. This kind of crap happens to nearly every team. Arsenal, ManU, Liverpool, Dortmund. All have had their best players kick up a fuss and move. Its football and we tap up other peoples players (and managers) as much as anyone else. Is it a general consensus that we all boo the players that left us beside Ashley Young? He is about the only player that left without leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Booing is one thing, the sheer naked rage heaped on Downing is a joy to behold Benteke can have the same.

I dont blame his agent or other players Benteke is a grown man. He has made this decision. I look forward to giving him the full Downing if I ever see him play again.
