Tbh, im not really going to give him any credit. He said the gabby sub was forced due to injury (fwiw, i didnt moan about taking gil off before someone mentions it) And the fact that every single football fan could see that grealish needed to come on (or gil, we clearly lacked creativity and someone who will keep it on the floor) and clark really wasnt working in DM, hes not really getting credit for that either. First half was utter dreadful and doesnt deserve credit doing the absolute minimum a manager should have done at half time after an awful first half setup/tactics. Got the win though.

Thats because the demo is a different game isnt it? Played full game for a few hours last night. Half against a mate, and then half playing together online. Keepers punch/collect nearly everything from crosses. I quite like that though. Holding LT (xbox) is pretty much everything on this game (in my limited playing). It Control the ball and shield/turns with it which allows you to pass the ball so much better and crisper and stops oppo tackling you. Chip through balls are pretty much non-existent. Fouls/yellow cards are redic though, so many 50/50 shoulder with strength tackle gets given freekick and a yellow Theres some weird things when youre a defender...the ball just rolls through your legs so often and through to the attacker. Was playing liverpool and bacuna had an easy header away, and he just jumped, ducked under the ball and it obviously allowed benteke to go have an easy tap in. (so im guessing the better team online still have a massive advantage when it comes to AI) Oh for the love of god, did they even bother playing 2player on this game. The blue player square is literally impossible to see on 50% of player changes and youre guessing who you are.

Said it since start of the season but think its redic that ayew/gestede and gabby have all been given minutes and this guy hasnt. Thought it was awful to not start him when we played bournemouth given the preseason he had. Thought it would "send a bad message across". I obviously have no idea whats happened behind the scenes and something clearly (imo) has.

Hmmm. I like westwood i really do but the past few games hes been very poor. I dont think its a "he cant play in a midfield 2", i just dont think he can play when sanchez is in the team. Imo, hes best played as a DLP and he hasnt been played like that this season. Dont think he can do the further midfielder of the 2 CM's very well. Dont think hes good enough taking the ball from our half into their half like delph/gana do and give that midfield drive. And sanchez occupies the space in the spaces that westwood is good at. So i guess it depends if you want: a) sanchez whos better at tackling but derps a ton with his passes when hes playing as the deepest midfielder or b] Westwood whos much weaker than sanchez and cant tackle aswell, but will never lose possession My 2c

Ye to think hes just doing it because he wants to and "somebody needs to tell him to stop doing it" is pretty silly. He probably likes taking corners that way and sees some theory behind it. Probably discussed it with sherwood (or whoever is corner coaching staff) and they saw merit to it aswell. Probably works a lot more on training ground as i imagine it isnt as physical as in an actual game and theyre just trying to perfect it on the pitch.

Schlupp was up against Sinclair and Bacuna whilst Amavi and Ayew (assumed) had to deal with the raw pace of De Laet and Albrighton. It was a ridiculous substitution which has been covered enough. i bet the same people who are saying gil shouldnt be subbed would be saying he should have been subbed if leicester scored from a shlupp cross. He was getting exposed pretty badly down that side before he got subbed off. Why do people keep saying ayew is a striker? Hes played both wide and at front in his carear. Hes played the role he was supposed to play yesterday before (played it a lot iirc), it isnt some totally new position. The pace of shlupp needed nullified at that moment of the game so trying to nullify that by having someone keep up with his pace and bringing on fresh leg who would also be able to exploit the FB getting so far forward seemed fine to me. (dont get me wrong, ayew didnt do anything, that doesnt make the reasoning behind the sub bad though) Think everyone could see that bacuna lost his head and needed to be sub'd pretty quickly. Was too late on that sub. Also agree to those who think gestede shouldnt have come on and veretout instead to give less space to their AM's.

at a point where keeping the ball is vital, you don't take our best keeper of the ball off and replace him with our worst. you then don't bring on amother player who is equally as bad with the ball.
