hes slightly injured. Hip problem. Whole game at high intensity will prob flare it too much for the weekend. Probably on the bench as he possibly could manage 10/15mins at end of game if they was winning or something. thats one of my most hated phrases a lot of commentators are saying recently. "if hes on the bench, hes fit enough to start". Eh

why do the best players in the world seem to score from so many shots which takes a slight slight deflection to go in? Swear it hardly happens for average player. Is it really just because they have higher # of shots on average? Or am i just having selective memory and it happens for every player?

pep is just too good. I know his style will result in it quite a bit but sanchez sure does result in a lot of possession turnovers. Prob only thing stopping him being #3 or #4 in the world. Ozil such a boss this season

kind of. The number of players when it gets to midstakes or higher on different sites are incredibly low so wont be able to get enough volume in. They often also charge more to play there (through rake) which makes it even harder to win at and they dont provide the level of security against bots etc and $ security (multiple sites have gone under and just kept all the player funds or cant guarantee cashouts). Pokerstars hold such a monopoly over the poker industry that such a radical change is going to affect every other site negatively aswell (unless them sites invest heavily in software/advertisement which isnt the most sensible thing in a industry thats declining) It certainly isnt as simple as move sites and everything will be semi-ok Pokerstars changed hands last year and ever since its just been bad news and money grab due to them being a publicly traded company now

Re my previous post about pokerstars: Holy shit it appears to be much worse than i thought, theyve implemented something which means the best players will be moving down in stakes which makes all the games much much harder everywhere (as there will be a topple down effect). So the 3/4k£ loss will just be a minimum My skill level is pretty close/near to the high stakes tables and people around my skill level are seriously thinking about getting a job due to how unbeatable the games will become. I will literally have to go into the 9 to 5 job grind . I knew the day would come where something like this will happen where the games come close to unbeatable, but thought that would be at least 2 years down the line and not because of a quick money grab. Adama isn't good enough yet to be starting. Gil should be the first name on the teamsheet. Honestly right now I'd be happy to see Ayew instead of Grealish. Yeh, i agree about adama but so many people post him in their lineups :S And gil/richards/gana are the only three players to be a guaranteed starters for me. I guess amavi, but thats more to do with how shit our lb cover is more than to do with amavi ability shown this year. I suppose ayew now after recent performances

meh i still think he has a role to play (in our current squad, hopefully he gets phased out quite quickly january / next summer with one or two signings). Just never upfront on his own again please. there a quite a few games where i would prefer him on the left compared to others as he does put in a defensive shift tbf and has the pace to CA. But just never ever again upfront on his own. Hes just too easy to mark when hes upfront on his own. Could be effective 442 (but then that usually leaves pretty glaring leaks over other parts of the pitch playing that formation, and gestede isnt probably intelligent enough to drag defenders for gabby). So pretty much only on the left for me for less than 15 games a season

Am i the only one who doesnt want to see (from what weve seen from them so far this season) grealish -- gil -- adama? i see a lot posting them AM's and hoping garde chooses them but two of these players are going to be incredibly inconsistent who so far this season, offer nothing defensively for the times they are shit. (bit of leniency for Adama given hes come on towards end of the games which could have been told not to defend much given were usually losing etc etc but a lot of people have pointed out he just stands around) Especially with amavi lb, whilst very good going forward, has shown plenty of defensive mistakes and the lack of work rate of grealish for the times amavi goes forward is a bit of a problem

I know literally nothing about him or results at lyon but MNF showed he waswas 12th for clean sheets (which I imagine is pretty bad for a team that finished 4th/3rd. Obviously doesn't tell much of the story). This could be very worrying given our biggest problem is we make defensive error after defensive error. So I dont know how much the current situation will change

If he offered something defensively then it would be ok to have a 20 year old whos learning in their first full season and who is obviously going to have poor games. But he just doesnt...His work rate is atrocious, he looks incredibly lazy and is very lightweight. Were bottom of the league and when he isnt going through his 15 minute of a game good spell (which is every other game), its pointless him being on the pitch. said during chelsea game i think hes over rated (before people say im being reactionary to this one performance) Hes got potential, but he isnt showing it in enough games or for long enough during the games he does show it

Fair play to him. Started season poor but showing everyone how its done now. He was everywhere when he come on and put in a real shift.

Hes been utter shit for us this season apart from 10min spells in certain games. Too slow and lazy and offers nothing defensively for the times he goes missing offensively

does it? Mcleish/lambert/houllier were all signed before with "premier league experience". Ofc lambert/Mcliesh didnt have much of it but anyone who is a good manager with good premier league experience will be close to impossible to get (FatSam was the only one). I really dont know who you expect us to sign

Pretty sick to think i pay them £20k+ a year to play on their site and they reward us by money grabbing. who isnt a huge risk? were bottom of the league. The managers who wouldnt be a huge risk are managing teams much better than us because y'know, thats why they arnt a huge risk. As a career move, moyes to villa would be prettty bad for him. Best case scenario, he keeps us up and is labelled as a manager who can keep teams up which leads to him forever getting jobs to save clubs from relegation (pulis/fat sam style). Worst case, he takes us down and no prem team wants to touch him for getting a team relegated. He can currently still get a team mid table-ish if a team becomes available. Hes too good for us in our a current situation and wont be coming.
