yeh dont get me wrong,..he obviously hasnt been doing a great job recently. But last year majority of people were expecting them to get relegated due to monk being in charge and bony leaving previously. He took them to the best finish in swansea history (iirc?). Total of 8.5mil netspend in the summer, which is awful backing and its not like us who made a lot of money from one player to skew that number (their highest earning from a player being sold was 500k). No idea what they were expecting and its shit loyalty to somebody whos been at the club so long. only thing i thought is dodgy is sending that dyer on loan to Leicester. why exactly? Thats even more worrying because his awareness of when to pass/dribble and situational awareness is really bad. And hes never going to knock ozil/cazorla from CAM/CM role, pretty sure ramsay/sanchez/wilshire would get picked ahead of him for CAM. It kind of was make or break season for Ox and he hasn't really got the intelligence to make it at this level it appears. Campbell is probably ahead of him now he seems to dribble into players alllllll the time

make sure you never massively over-perform as manager. Just stick to doing an average job from the start and youll stay in managment

Giroud + Walcott with Sanchez being third back up is fine until the next saurez comes along (they should have Suarez now tbf if it wasn't for pool dodging contract release clause). Walcott has been pretty awesome for them this season and it allows a pretty dam good press when him, Sanchez, coq and kos are in the team. Giroud and ozil has seem to have perfected set pieces this year. They look like they're going to score from every single one. Happy they gone through. Missed the game though. They need to sign another wide forward. Ox just isnt going to make it.

phew, thought i was only one who didnt understand wanting to play him at front. Isnt it all on-ball pace from what weve seen from him? Swear ive read a lot of people just saying he stands around not doing anything when he hasnt got the ball. + the very high risk playstyle which leads to insane amount of turnovers + never played at front. It seems truly awful to play him upfront wrt to the team as a whole whilst it may look good for a a few minutes when hes on. Hes bad/damaging for the team from what we seen from him so far. Hes being managed fine so far iyam. Late in games where were chasing its like saying play Ox at front for arsenal. would look a disaster (some guy said wenger could get traore playing at front or something)

All 3 similarish players (just different ages, lukaku prob most intelligent though). All 3 arnt good enough to be #1 striker for a top club. They also couldn't really afford to give lukaku #1 role at the time when they sold him and just hope he learns how to become world class striker. If lukaku was happy being a striker on the bench I imagine he would still be there. There's been many posts over his time at Everton at being so inconsistent. That isn't acceptable for Chelsea.
