  1. We're much better! No hoofs, passing well, goal...That's how you do it AM
  2. I would have prefered Clark over Collins, Herd at RB and Bannan in his place, but other than that it's pretty good.
  3. He has totally lost his marbles. Normally, he is very good (despite being BS) at talking about stuff fans want to hear. But the stuff he comes out now is beyond stupidity.
  4. Nothing beats his laughable and embarassing positive spin of "We went right at Spurs" after being camped in our own half at WHL for 99% of the match. That's when you go hang on a minute. Something isn't right here. **** off.
  5. I'm at the stage where I'm indifferent with the results now under AM. Last season I was majorly pissed off when we lost against Bolton away. This season even if we win it'll just a 'meh' reaction from me because we'll no doubt of probably scrapped it due to sheer luck. I think we'll lose against Bolton anyway. When they knocked us out in the Carling Cup we had about 8/11 of our starting players on the pitch against Bolton reserves. Yet they defeated us at home 2-0 very comfortably. And I'd say that because we didn't have a shot on target until the last 5 mins or so.
  6. I don't think we can even recall Makoun back from loan as well?! :x For all AM's faults we have bigger problems upstairs.
  7. That Bristol match report is so true. Hilarious.
  8. Here we go again where his team have **** up. How is it that last season when Ireland was sent on loan we had to pay his wages, but when we get an injury prone player like Jenas on loan we have to pay his wages? When is the board ever going to face up to their responsibility they're costing us millions due to their incompetent mistakes? They're not learning anything. A competent owner would bring incompetent people like Paul Faulkner to one side and sack him on the spot for losing his millions. But seeing as Randy Lerner has never had to work for it he'll just let it slide continously and stick with his muppet of a buddy.
  9. I don't think AM would be too bothered if Bent left. He doesn't play to his strengths. I'm sure deep down he wants to drop him but he won't in fear of the backlash he'll get from us. Even the board would question on why is he dropping a striker they spent up to 24m on. If he does go to Liverpool I wouldn't mind Carroll too much as long as we get at least 15 million as well. He was a monster against us and would probably shine here.
  10. Can anyone guess the gates next season if AM is here at the Championship?
  11. Nah, the media and other fans are catching on that AM really is hopeless. But our useless board will still probably see it that way.
  12. Protests won't work. We tried that at June and they spat on our faces. I don't think chants will work either. They didn't bother listening to us before. What needs to happen is we simply don't turn up. Hit them where it really hurts. I think this could be possible the longer AM carries on using his anti football.
  13. I've just read something on a Villa Blog. According to the guy I've quoted below he has actually made contact with the club and this is what they have to say. Well that's it. Regardless of the rubbish football he is dishing out and the threat of a relegation battle they won't do anything about it. Looks like Bent will be gone as well judging by it. Doesn't the board have any respect for us at all? This is becoming a real problem now.
  14. That was laughable on so many levels. He hasn't got a clue about football, nevermind us.
  15. I keep seeing that Skyrim reference everywhere now. I mean just recently someone said the same with Heskey and his 'shot'.
  16. The General got found out when he said they were aiming for 4th (lol whoops my finger slipped 5th) and also said why wouldn't we want 20 million for Downing (our best player last season). That was the last post he ever made and I think it was for the best because the media would have drooled over his nonsense. He also let slip moments before when we was on the verge of appointing AM that SAF made the decision for them. Words cannot explain how embarassing that was. It's the fact our board couldn't find the right man themselves despite having the summer to prepare.
  17. Actaully, I think it suits players such as Dunne and Collins where they can hoof the ball without any complaints. I hope at least one of them (hopefully Collins) will be bought from MON. Then we can use Clark, but I doubt that. Knowing AM he'll spend his entire budget on more defenders.
  18. Turning our wingers into fullbacks is inexcusable. It makes Warnock and Hutton look better than they are, but yet Hutton still failed quite badly on the first goal. Did Bent even get any service in the box at all for the 90 mins? Did he even get it in the final third? :x It's no wonder he has the least touches out of any other player this season. I'll be shocked if he remains here after the window.
  19. Heskey coming on had a positive impact on the utter turd that was being dished up. At least we started shooting. If you cant see that, you either: havent a clue what your talking about when it comes to football. or hate Heskey so much you refuse to acknowledge anything positive about the man - which is a bit childish imo. Oh yeah, it was so positive that we still managed to lose and not do a great deal alot. It's not like his presence has been great anyway or did you forget the last 2 games before it where we didn't score and hardly created anything? Anyone with football knowledge would know when you need a side to create more chances and Heskey dosen't offer that, especially the position he is playing at. First you criticise Bent and then you praise Heskey. What is wrong with you? Fact - we created more on Saturday with Heskey on. I never said he was amazing, just that it had a positive impact. Its not about criticising Bent & praising Heskey. Its a team game and I want the best for the team, and no one can deny that Heskey playing had a positive effect on the teams performance and Bent didn't. What I'm saying is though is that Ireland could have a made a much better positive impact. It could have went the other way sure, but if you need a goal/create chances the sensible thing to do is bring on an attacking midfielder with a good pass rate instead of a poor goalscorer played out of position who falls every few seconds. Also, Heskey's awareness was rubbish in that match. He could have easily passed the ball to Bent giving us the biggest chance of the game, but just totally messes it up. What do you expect of Bent anyway? He is a poacher. He'll do what he does best. If he drops deep no one will be in the box. We're not going to get a world class striker so he is the next best thing for scoring goals. Or would you prefer Heskey who 'tries hard' but has a shit goal ratio?
