Imo, Martinez is the nicest guy in the Premier League. I would kill for him to be our manager now. I can't believe Wigan have a better manager than us. It just doesn't make sense.

He hasn't built his wealth. He has inherited it through no effort of his own. He doesn't know the true value of money and he has no business sense. He seems to be utterly clueless about everything. How can anyone have respect for him? What? Was it because he splashed out his dad's money on us once upon a time? So if someone else was a billionaire through no work of their own and splashed the cash on us like a play thing, he would be respected? Nah, it's false. Pardew has had it worse than McLeish. Look at all the Newcastle's best players left under him this year. Yet he is doing remarkably well because he knows what he is doing.

I thought he looked pretty damn good actually. Better than I was expecting. Yes, he should be in the trio but that would be an alien concpet for AM.

FACT I just don't think it's a good idea to change manager again so soon, I don't think that Lerner will sack McLeish unless we get relegated, I don't think that many other managers would have picked a hugely different team Today and I don't think that the result reflects the performance or the tactics. We attacked. I'm not going to cry about sacking out a manager that I'm fairly certain will be here for, at least, a whole season. I'll criticise him when I feel it's necessary. He needs to sort out the defending of set pieces, he needs to get the players to move into space when attacking, he needs to buy a creative midfielder OR hope that Bannan/ Delph/ Petrov will start to consistently thread balls through to the attackers. But more than anything, right now, he needs his first choice strikers & goalkeeper back. I can't blame him for their injuries or suspensions. He has had the whole of pre-season to sort out our defence against set pieces, he has had 17m to spend in the summer window, he has proven that even with the best team available we'll look clueless against the big teams, he insists of using the same shitty defence who keep making 'clown' mistakes. Right, so if we keep him now, do you think he is the right man to keep us up in a relegation battle? **** no. We'll be screwed because he has shown his talentless ways he can't do **** all about it. Get rid now and never look back.

Rob, you're seriously in denial if you think that was even a subpar performance. Even if Given, Gabby, Herd and Bent was in the match we would have lost quite comfortably seeing as AM can't do much against top sides with our best team available. Suarez hit the woodwork twice and really overall should have got a hatrick, yet you think AM done well enough to keep it 0-2. He didn't do shit. Keeps picking the same shitty defence who let us down time and time again.

Is he completed wrong though? Us not having 4 starters in Gabby, Bent, Herd & Given would be similar to Liverpool missing Suarez, Reina, Adam & Bellamy. Do you think we'd have lost as badly if they had Brad Jones in goal & Andy Carroll upfront? I don't know, but I doubt many teams in the league could put in excellent performances with 4 starters unavailable for selection. Well, seeing as the performance was just as bad as against Tottenham and Man Utd when he had every player to choose from, NO EXCUSES.

Some managers aren't cut up for Championship or lower. I mean look at Pardew. Did fairly poor at League One with Southampton and is now doing very well with Newcastle in the PL.

He'll at least grant us Premier League safety and some good football performances even against the big teams. Much superior to the ginger muppet. McLeish has nothing to offer at this club apart from risking our elite Premier League status.

I stil can't get my head around why he uses the same 4 defenders. They've leaked alot of goals this season, provided no assistance or goals. Can't do **** all. Yet suddenly in the next game here they are again making the same mistakes where they can't defend set pieces and get turned over in open play...So AM says the defending was unacceptable, yet they're not punished because they keep starting every **** game.

But we shouldn't have to be stuck with him. Before AM went and bought Hutton, Herd was the Man of the Match against Wolves. I think he earned that position. Yet AM wasted money on his useless buddy anyway. **** clearing in the woods.

AM can't even park the bus properly. Look at all the gaps like Man Utd, Tottenham, Liverpool etc. find so easily. If they were more clinical they could have trashed us with ease without even stepping out of 1st gear. The 0-2 defeat doesn't do Liverpool much justice at all. It should have been 0-6 and I wish it was because that would have really set the alarm bells running across the entire **** world.
