  1. ^^ I had the same issue a month or so ago. Factory reset and external battery charger later and its all sorted.
  2. Lotus' response to proposed rule changes.
  3. Im really not sure if that level of detail was needed in the press reporting. I have no idea where the article comes from or the level of journalistic integrity of its creator, but there are details in there purely designed to titilate the readership.
  4. It may not stop at the finger..... Katy (not Mrs E) does have rather small hands........
  5. I have a similar one.... at a mates birthday party when I was 16. I was chatting to two girls I'd met the week before.... I fancied them both but ended up picking the future Mrs E and we've been together ever since. The other girl is now our vet. Wonder what life would have been like the other way round?
  6. This cheers me up no end. My little girls 1st nativity play this morning.
  7. I thought that as well but I actually heard one of the girls phone calls and it was literally a case of 'yeah I took the day off work to go shopping, Yeah I couldn't buy the presents, I wasted a day's holiday, I had to take money out of my husbands rent to pay for the things I had reserved, It was all very embarrasing'' they gave her £165 on the spot and the money has already gone into her bank account. And now you've documented the fraud on the internet.
  8. Another thing to consider is that the Bank would have a record (and so should you) of any failed transaction. So no record - no compo - likely fraud charge.
  9. Ahhhh remember the days ......do threads still get locked ? Probably not. Its now more like "BEAT THE
  10. If you unlike a post and like it again does the phone buzz again?
  11. Eames' list of gumbles with the loan market Player hording - clubs buy players to prevent the competition signing them and then loan them out to smaller clubs eg. Lukaku You shouldn't be able to loan players out in the same league or at the same level. Eg. No loans from the PL to Ligue 1. Loans between clubs in the same league only benefit the parent club in the long run. eg. the Kyle Walker situation The club that accepts a player on loan should be responsible for 100% of the wages. Only 1 loan player to be at the club at the time. Allow clubs to have 40 players in the first team squad (yes you can only register 25 but of you have lots of home growns you can sneek them in.) EDIT: 7. Players on all should play be allowed to play against the parent club thats the risk you take when you loan a player out. There are to be no gentlemans agreements of any sort preventing this. I don't like loans at all.
  12. I think he probably would have regardless, suicide was really his only option in the face of the failure of the 3rd Reich. To be paraded by either the Soviets or the Americans in defeat would not have been rationalised with his Fuhrer image. Had he not it would have become clear that at Nuremburg he was going to have his neck strectched anyway he'd have gone down the suicide route with Goering.
  13. On the numbers thing that will hugely benefit the drivers from a marketing point of view and I'm surprised it hasn't appeared in the sport a lot sooner.
  14. Double points is absolutely ridiculous. The FIA seem determined to make F1 like the Wacky Races. Tbh they've lost me since the move to Sky anyway but I really won't bother with it at all now.
  15. The Barry Bannan Thread. Truely magnificent - If ever I'm up in Court I want Con defending me.
  16. To mis-quote the great Malcom Tucker... "What is going on in here? Its like Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Word Removed.
  17. But his biggest mistake is that he had the time to sign a couple of players. I understand that he didn't want to disrupt the current squad too much, but the time and money was there. The summer window for them was a massive shambles. I like MOyes, and I think he'll be given time and will come good. But there's no excusing that transfer business (or lack of) I'd agree with that .....Fellani was a huge mistake a panic buy after no action whatsoever - but Utd's midfield has been a shambles for longer than that, held together solely by the Fergie factor and very little else.
  18. Moyes' problems this season are mostly of Fergies making. He's been given an absolute hospital pass of a job with that midfield they need 3/4 world class players to sort the mess out.
  19. I'll defend my local LR dealer to the hilt. Mrs E gets far more sense out them than I ever do. I've had access to or owned pretty much every car LR have made over the last 10 years and apart from the current FreeLander they've all been a joy from a reliability point of view. The Defender is a fabulours vehicle and the classic shape will rocket in value come 2015. I can only hope the "new" shape dies on its arse and they do a Coke Classic U turn.
  20. Clicking the most recent threads type list.... entered the "Randy Learner" Thread. First post I saw was Returned to Off Topic.
  21. And you still think 80k a year in London makes you one step below "Super Rich?" (shall we just say "rich" then?) The average London house price is c.450k a year (according to R4 yesterday). 80k a year in London I would describe as comfortable at best.
  22. If only VT had a "dislike" or "this person is a prat" button.
