  1. It wasn't an interview as such. It was a panel discussion type thing with two other academics. Like I said I thought he came across very well. Was careful not to make a comment on his politics.
  2. Arsenal and Pool are more likely to yeild results than the baggies for me. Arsenal will come and attack us....which will suit us nicely an away game at home if you like. Liverpool is an away game although keeping Suarez out of mischief could be interesting. Baggies will turn up.... park the bus and nick a winner.
  3. Interesting insight Kevan. Should the manager of another club be discussing OUR players future with the players parents/agents without permission?
  4. Given that he has just had (presumably) as massive bollocking for his activities I'd say don't mention them - it could a) bugger up negotitations making it harder to for us to sign players or drop him further in the shite.
  5. Hairy Hands was Nicky Keye. I am ITK on that one. 100%.
  6. Why on earth are people debating anything with someone whose forum ID is dedicated to that mockney wazzock anyway?
  7. Its clearly ITK bollocks but I can well imagine that Pilkington is the type of player PL would be going for. To claim insight on that one is just daft.
  8. Nobody would touch Cardiff with a bargepole, and they have a crazy, interfering owner. The list of managers wanting the Villa job would be endless. I am ambivalent as to whether he stays or goes. Lose tomorrow and I'll definitely be in the 'go' camp. Except one of the highest rated young managers in European football has touched them with a barge pole hasn't he? Why? Simple. The promise of a **** ton of cash despite the crazy bastard running the club. Villa have the opposite problem. A sensible owner who won't spend the money. We would not be as good a prospect.
  9. Ive cooled down a bit since the Palace debacle. I don't think we should sack him and the table doesn't lie, we are in a better position than last year.... (although there are more worse teams than us in the league this season) However, this is a key window for me. We need experience. The difference with Vlaar in the team is incredible and the midfield need the same thing a safe pair of hands who has seen it and done it at the highest level. If Lambert doesn't address that, then 4 windows into his Villa career I would be asking serious questions.
  10. I thought he equipped himself very well on R4. Came across and sensible, articulate and intelligent. His ideas for the curriculum didn't sound unreasonable. Makes me sad he **** it up so brilliantly in the article.
  11. I can see the Lambert OUT stuff starting if we serve up another performance like that shite on Boxing Day again.
  12. So where is the coverage? Why has it not been reported on the Mail or and of the nationals? That would be quite the story and yet I'm not aware of any coverage? Happy to be proved otherwise but right now for me its in the "dodgy rumour" section.
  13. Self aggrandising clearing in the woods in story to raise own profile of website and person? I can't believe it!! The man is a plank of the highest order.
  14. A few factual inaccuracies here... Lambert has spent c. £40m. Faulkner is actuallu a damn good CEO one of the few things Lerner had got 100% right. Far too many idiots scapegoat him because they don't understand the role of a CEO. Southampton have spent a **** ton of money...very few of their 1st team got them promoted. Its a different side. Apart from that I agree with the Vlaar/Benteke/brown stuff stuff.
  15. Unless youre playing top trumps....911>Mustang on every single useful measure. A mustang is just a big dumb shouty horse that cant corner. The Kraut's can drag the same power output out of a 2l engine that the yanks manage with 6l. Granted they look nice and make a lot of noise. They are quick in a straight line but that's it. With things that really matter on a car (performance, comfort, handling, engineering) you would go German every single time. Edit.... Or maybe a Jag. (Cheque or cash is fine Stevo)
  16. Its all subjective anyway...but for me my cars what I've owned in order of preference is Mini Cooper S JCW Audi A1 LR Freelander VW Golf Mini Cooper Pug 206 2x Ford Fiestas Renault Clio. (**** horrible car) I've owned two fords....and will happily dismiss them. They're shit. Boring to drive...boring to look at. The automotive equivilent of beige. 'Boring'... yet you buy German? Have you driven both two compare? I have. Fords are shit. I've driven a Mercedes, nothing special. German cars are just so plain and boring. And Fords are super exciting? I'm not having that.

  19. Adam is a terrible name for a person let alone a car. That's a bit like comparing a mustang to a cortina. But I suppose if you were blind drunk, partially sighted and squinting then yes...there is a tiny similarity.
  20. Fingers crossed it keeps going. Surprised me to see that only Rover have a worse engine failure rate than Audi. Its an A1 Sline. It's fantastic.
  21. Well this sounds like a marvellous idea. Criminals deciding for themselves what a decent sentence would be before **** off. There is nothing clever, admiral or news worthy about him, his life or his death.
  22. Got the Audi that I'm not keeping. (see various other threads) Its a **** monster. Absolutely love it.
  23. No sad loss to society. Hope it hurt.
