Blanc is a top shout... *Heads down to bookies.
Fergie and Man U have played a blinder here. This season was always going to be a disaster. Paper light midfield..aging defence...living in Fergie's shadow...whoever took over was always going to "fail". It was too big for Fergie in the end. Far better it be a chancer trying to make it at the top table than an experienced top manager whose reputation would be crushed.
Trouble is this is what happens when you deviate from the books narrative. George RR Martin refers to the "butterfly effect". Having Jamie return to Kings Landing in the TV show before Joffreys death creates this situation.
I can't help thinking what has happened here is that TBAR have had some genuine info....and are now milking it for all its work for site traffic and ad revenue reasons.
Except you aren't comparing like with like are you? A manager getting promoted and a striker scoring goals are two totally unrelated things.
I was asked for a reason as to why I felt that Lambert was better than his current position at villa suggests, I provided one.
Why is the wealth of the owners being discussed in such detail. They certainly won't rock up and spunk the whole lot on villa anyway. $1bn and $4bn makes little difference. The key question is how much of their wealth they are prepared to spend.
He is better than what he has achieved here?
I'd like to know what you are basing this on since you have recently asked others to provide evidence to prove what they say?
Taking a Norwich side that was smashed 7-1 in their first game of the season and getting them promoted.
Then stabilizing that Norwich team in the PL playing attractive attacking football in the process.
Is that OK for you? You point was that he is better than what he has achieved here and I asked you to provide evidence of that.
He has had Norwich and ourselves in similar positions in the Premiership so how is that proving your point?
I can't be bothered with you anymore. You deliberately avoid the point to continue your bloody minded rather bitter agenda. Crack on chief. I won't be reading it.

Lambert will stay to begin with. If he improves things with a better budget he will stay longer.
He is better than what he has achieved here so and that's not surprise being asked to play champagne football on lemonade money.
Lambert IMO will stay to guarantee a tiny bit of stability.
Changing ownership, manager and making a massive investment into the players will totally destabilize the club.
Not good ownership or leadership.
I have no evidence but generally don't new owners tend to keep the current guy in post at least until Christmas..see how he gets on and then sack him if they need to?
