  1. Defoe is in a tent? Bit of a step down from an Estate Agents or JulieB's dungeon of transfer certainty.

^^ Yep thats exactly what it means. It shouldn't have happened and I feel bad for those its happened to, its got to be mortifying form Mummy Upton to see her little girl covered in Verlander's baby gravy plastered(no pun) all over the interweb but you know what, if you're famous, you need to know this stuff and keep it secure and iCloud ain't the way to do it. Secure that shit offline.
  3. At £5m for the season on loan there is no way on this earth we are signing Welbeck.
  4. Yes, apparently they do it to match the yellow ticker bar at the bottom of the screen Back on topic - really hoping we don't end up swapping Vlaar for Cleverly or something stupid like that Well yes thank you I realise that but It is a massively word-removey thing to do.
  5. Slightly OT but ALL the Sky reporters are wearing yellow ties? Words Removed.
  6. Take his phone off him. Tie him up, blindfolded and gagged and lock him in the basement of some deserted farm near Nuneaton. HE MUST NOT LEAVE.
  7. wont it be different that he is the manager/leader compared to just another player. Also could you imagine many Asian or black players wanting to work for him No. It won't matter at all. The Chelsea captain called another player a "black word removed" and the black players at chelsea didnt object in any way shape or form. Liverpool's black players seemed OK with Suarez after his ban. He'll be back. He's already proved he's too good not to be and his attitude is no different to your average UKIP MEP or voter. He'll be fine once the fuss has calmed down.
  8. Premium Economy or better is the only way to fly. No need to recline then but agree..... if its a short haul flight, sit the **** up.
  9. Nile Ranger, Joey Barton, Marlon King, and the bloke whose name escapes me who killed that guy in the hit and run all returned to the game after custodial sentences. Mackay will be back at a Football League club inside of 2 years. Obviously his comments are totally inappropriate but you can't pretend that Mackay has got a little unlucky here given that I would imagine those same jokes/attitidues are rife in dressing rooms across the 92 league clubs.
  10. To catch up with chat from this page: I like Robbie Savage as a pundit. My perception is that he is honest and provides a players view on the game - much the same as Collymore. The "article" in the Telegraph smacks of professional jealousy and little else. The sole critiscism that isn't the writiers opinion is that he may have said rude things to LeSaux about his sexuality. As have I would imagine several thousand players, managers, fans and other pundits (I'm not conding BTW) Noone watches MOTD for the analysis. You watch it for the highlights. End of. Redknapp (Snr and Jnr) Lampard and Gerrard are all words removed, and Sven.
  11. I will have a go subject to my less than subtle paperazzi skills.

    Doctor Who

Capaldi is and remains a genius piece of casting. Absolutely superb, although I did spend the duration of the episode and probably will the series waiting for him to launch into a Tucker-esqe bollocking with F-Bombs aplenty. My only compalint about the episode was the BBC in full post-Savile "THE OLD MAN REALLY ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY POSITIVELY IS NOT REPEAT NOT FLIRTING WITH THE SEXY ASSISTANT" mode. That said, Jenna Coleman is fantastic.
  13. I live in the terrible South East where we steal growth from other areas of the UK and prop the rest of you lot up. Scotland staying or going makes absolutely no difference to my day to day life whatsoever and therefore I couldn't give a monkey's toss either way.
  14. Regardless of the colour creed or religious flavour of the perpetrators historic, systematic child abuse on that scale cannot take place with the knowledge, collusion and consent of people in exceptionally senior positions of power all of whom AFAIK are white. That is the real problem here.
  15. First day back after a two week holiday and the office has recruited two abolsute class blondes whilst I've been away.
  16. I'm currenltly thrashing the courtesy Micra. Its an epically shit car that is hilarous to drive. Its got a really poppy 1.2 and you can really chuck it about in corners. Its like an old ladies go kart. Where are you from in Kent F87. (Not asking in a Voiny way)
  17. What 5 keepers can you say are without a doubt better than Cech? In my opinion the world's best is Neuer then Cech and that is my non-biased opinion. The previous other contenders for world's best such as Buffon and Casillas have dropped off quite a bit lately especially Casillas. Neuer Navas De Gea Sirigu Begovic all better than Cech, few others as well like Bravo, Hart, Buffon, Oblak are on a similar level to him No, just no. Begovic has done well at Stoke, let's see if he does in Champions league knockout stages etc.. Buffon is a shadow of the GK he was. Sirigu has never been tested, immense team in a joke league. Joe Hart, that one is just hilarious. Keylor Navas, again, hasn't done it at a big club or over a sustained period in big competitions. So much of being a goalkeeper is mental and performing on the biggest stages. Cech has done that and still continues to do so. He is top class. I would go with Courtios myself too though, because he is the future and you cannot risk losing this guy. For outfield players your logic is sound - but not for goalkeepers. at "Big clubs" these keepers will in theory get less to do, marshalling a better defence, the game becomes less about repeated instinctive shot stopping and more about concentration and reading the game. Begovic is an excellent keeper and IMO would look worlds better in a better team.

  19. Trick question, I live in England. Suits aren't just to impress though. You don't go to a funeral to impress people, do you? It makes people take things more seriously. Like CVB says, if someone is in bootcut stonewash jeans and shit running trainers they clearly don't give a shit. I disagree. I'm sat at my desk... polo shirt, shorts, birkenstocks..... working hard.... posting on VT... oh wait.....
  20. Do they make you feel inadequate?
  21. That is a notoriously shit time to schedule a meeting to get ANYTHING done important or not.
  22. The fact I'm posting this in the bath. So it's like I'm naked next to you in whatever context you are reading.
  23. I have huge respect for vegetarians because I simply couldn't do it. As with most lifestyle choices the zealots are clearings in the woods but I do respect the discipline involved in not having the biggest bloodiest steak on the menu.
