  1. To be fair to Ed there is a world of difference between a Labour-SNP coalition and SNP supporting a minority Labour administration to pass legislation. All he has said is "no coalition." The door for SNP support is very much wide open.
  2. You speak as though those are the only two options. I'd also argue that the view that Man City "never had a soul" prior to winning the Arab takeover lottery is a load of old bollocks.
  3. Oh don't get me wrong a lack of competition is terrible for the sport, whoever is winning. Just think that Horner complaining that someone else's car is quicker having watched his own team stuff everyone else out of sight for 4 years is a little disingenuous.
  4. Bet all this is making a few sweaty palms even sweatier though......
  5. He has no point whatsoever and is simply sulking that he has backed the wrong horse engine-wise.
  6. Meh take over. Whatever. FFP makes the big boys cartel uncrackable anyway so in reality very little will change. FYI New Owners please observe the following rules. 1) The club is called "Aston Villa Football Club" 2) The club's home stadium is called "Villa Park" 3) No. We don't want a new one by all means improved and expand VP but observe rule 2. 4) Aston Villa Football Club play home matches in claret and blue tops and white shorts. I have no opinion on socks although I do like the claret and blue hoops. 5) The clubs badge is open to review but must retain the golden lion rampant. Play by the rules and we'll get along just fine.
  7. Dark arts. I realised I was way out of my depth when I queried why we were buying a baby a Peter Rabbit porcelain breakfast bowl and cup with silver spoon. By my logic, no fool would let a baby use a porcelain bowl. Correct, it will be 'put away for them'. But no older child will want to drink from a Peter Rabbit cup? Correct, 'it will be put away for them until they are 18 or leave home'. Well what the merry **** is an 18 year old bloke moving house going to do with a Peter Rabbit bowl? It was made clear to me this was not up for discussion and we were indeed spending £30 on unusable shite that would be stored out of sight for an unknown number of years. THIS with bells on.
  8. I can see the point to an extent, its her first kid and he made no effort at all. Even a card would have been sweet. Igot the kids to make a card and bought Mrs E some flower and chocs "from them" I sort of take the point but there is a huge array of politics that goes on re gifts when it comes to families.
  9. Spent most of the day feeling sorry for a friend who totally failed to buy his wife anything from their 10 month old son. He has taken olympic sized swimming pools worth of shit from women as a result. My mum got flowers a card and a visit. Jobs a good un.
  10. "Little Rock" from the Gaelic apparenty. Popular with William the Conquerer's knights. Could be descriptive or geographical I suppose.
  11. All I want is SquareEnix to give VII the remake it deserves. Couldn't be less interested in anything else in the FF series.

  13. Does he post on here?? What's his username?? Ginkso. Edith Bowman looks like shit doesn't she?
  14. Blackout Blinds FTW. Both kids have them in their rooms and they are both pitch black all night.

    Top Gear

They'd got 130k signatures by 6am this morning though. No way will the BBC drop or cancel Top Gear - it is too popular and makes too much money. The show would appear on ITV in a suspiciously similar format within the year.
  16. Man Girls - Lindsey Lohan in transgender high school drama Footlose - Kevin Bacon suffers terrible accident Bing It On - Docudrama about Microsoft's quest to develop a rival to Google Transpotting - Ewan McGregor plays @cockorncock (9pm Sunday FWIW)
  17. I think we are all missing the big issue here which is what are the possible biological benefits of a corkscrew penis? More efficient penetration? Great space efficiency? Dunno.

    Smart Watches

Why have I now got the image of a sweaty Tony rummaging around in his "pouch" desperately trying to "shuffle" his device?
  19. I always thought the KA was a nippy little thing. 1.3 engine in a small light car with wheels at each corner. Had a few as courtesy cars.... alwyas like revving the shit out of them and zipping about.

    Smart Watches

I can't see how a smart watch adds any value to my life at the moment and thats why I won't be buying one. Once they do I will jump on board no doubt. I'm not prepared to part with £300 to save myself the aggro of taking my phone out of my pocket of reaching across a desk for it to answer a text.
  21. Wasn't it the Tories who ignored the dossier compiled on alleged sexual abuse? Weren't the houses of Leon Brittan and Harvey Proctor recently searched? Did Savile and Thatcher not have quite a close friendship? Invites to Chequers, spending time with the Thatcher family? Could be why Cameron is skipping the live debates, either he knows he will look like a muppet losing to little ed or he knows when yewtree are going to be calling the Tory MP's / Lord's houses. It's one of the 2 but someone like Cameron must know who's guilty in his little party, he just can't tell the Police as they put him where he is now. I can fully understand Cameron ducking the debates. He only pushed for them last time because being in opposition is easy. Now he has a record to defend, against 6/7 other leaders all waiting to give him a kicking. He won't out shout Farage, Clegg was excellent on TV last time, Milliband just has to keep mentioning "cuts" and "save the NHS". Plaid and the SNP will just copy Ed in an amusing accent and Bennett will just talk utter bollocks and forget what she came prepared with. It will be a shambles and there is no way out for Cameron. He knowns the broadcasters won't empty chair him because of broadcast impartiality rules and lets be honest, floating voters mean **** all in this election anyway. Its all about protecting what you've got and stopping UKIP taking it for Dave.
  22. Coalition fun: Parliamentary protocol dictates the incumbent PM gets first crack at a government so Dave will have a bit of time to sort something out if he has the votes but will Con/Kip/Lib win enough seats? I can see a minority government there at best. Lab/SNP could well win enough seats for a majority - Miliband as PM with Sturgeon as Deputy? Neither combination is particularly inspiring. No way will there be a National Government of Lab/Con in this situation. They've spend way to long slagging each other off. Assuming Dave is no longer PM I can see a coup d'etat and Boris will be leader before Christmas ready for fresh elections within 12 months after Ed **** it up.
  23. Thought the Ramble and Football weekly had it right. Not ideal but not too much to get worked up about. Particularly when it is so roundly condoned in early rounds at "lesser" clubs. In terms of what happened its a perfect storm of shit really. 2nd local derby in a week + late pm kick off on a saturday + horrendous 5 years of shite +inadequate stwearding + ridiculous crowd placement = pitch invasion. Personally, I blame the clearing in the woods with a dildo on his head.
  24. Just watched that, with a massive silly grin on my face through out. Lovely stuff. Gotta love Fabian! That was excellent. The YouTube stuff and the behind the scenes clips have been brilliant recently. Full credit to Tom Fox and the team for finally getting this stuff right.
