could be worse, they could have been hyped up as the greatest fighting force ever and then turned out to be pretty useless... I assume villa4europe is referring to the Unsullied? I can't remember if the point has been made on the show or not but the Unsullied are the best soldiers in the world - in an open pitched battle I think the idea is they'd stomp everyone. What they are not though is urban policeman. 8ft spears don't help much during fights in alleyways which is how the Sons of Harpy operate. This is another detail the show has had to (rightly) gloss over from the books

Watched the Imitation Game a few nights ago. Keira Knightly is delightful. Cumberbatch can act like a good 'un. It should be a source of national shame what was done to Turing. Terrible way to treat him.

Bamford has had an excellent season. Will go on loan back to Boro I would imagine in the event Jose decides he isn't ready. In other words......we won't be seeing him here.

Aston Villa football club is in no way a "brilliant investment" for the reasons you have suggested. £650m to put the club "in good order" before you even see a sniff off a return (which even then is not guaranteed) is a terrible idea TV money or no. We haven't been purchased because we are a 2nd/3rd order PL team in an unfashionable part of the country with very little prospect for massive development a la Chelsea or Man City.
