With all do respect to him but he had money to spend...some 17-18 million but he should of generated more by selling a lot of our "first teamers" even if for quite a low amount to get them off the wage bill. On Football Manager I started out with the same amount of dosh from Lerner and I managed to finish 5th in my first season by selling our established deadwood or loaning them out (to save the wages) and gave our youngsters a good go while pretty much transforming the team just 20 million. Oh **** me, really? REALLY? You HAVE to be taking the piss. -

We have no aircraft carries. Our forces are over-stretched. The whole of South America is united in favour of the Falklands being transfered to Argentine sovereignty. There is a shit load of oil in the region. The only thing in our favour at present is that it appears that the Islanders hate the Argentinians. If it does kick off, we are not in a good state to defend the Islands this time round, with little support in the region, and the US indifferent.

For a change I agree with you. The "£" protest was good because we knew the club had money and just wasnt spending it. This time, we all know there is no money, so a protest against AM or RL will be negative by its very nature and generally doesn't look very good.

Thats why i've got a nurse and he gets a stripper!!! I would imagine that statistically most nurses have been serviced far less than most strippers. So its a fairly safe assumption that Dante would need to be larger in order to make an impact. Chucking bricks up alley's is never fun.

But they have to. If you don't enfore tax evasion more people will avoid it and revenue goes down. There needs to be an assessment of risk/reward but they absolutely have to pursue tax dodgers where they find them. -
I too feel Evra should refuse.... Suarez has no right to, but I would struggle to shake hands with the bloke that racially abused me a few weeks before. I have a feeling its all going to go off this weekend. If Evra tackles him and its even slightly firm, there is going to be a bigger ruck than at Twickers.....

Called it this morning. So a few issues then. Was the payment to Harry a loan? - No Is Harry guilty of tax evasion - IMO Yes. Could HMRC prove it? - No. Hence the not guilty. -
The FA cancelled the handshake between Terry and A. Ferdinand last week due to the undue focus on the situation.... and yet the same FA has stated that Suarez and Evra will be expected to shake hands on Saturday regardless of the focus on the situation. One rule for the now ex-England Captain and one for Suarez and Evra?

WTF? It looks like that word removed judge is determined candle face should walk. I've just read part of his summing up and it seemed to me he was being unduly favourable to the defence. If you've only read part of the summing up its not really possible for you to come to that conclusion. If the case fails it will be because HMRC **** it up, not that the judge was biased. Unless there is a Spurs fan(s) on the Jury. -

The interesting development was that the judge will only accept unanimous verdicts. So one closet Spurs fan on the jury and the whole things a waste of time - I now believe the Jury will fail to reach the required verdict. -
Apart from gigs I make a point of avoiding any establishment where someone on the door is necessary. Give me a country pub, old men, beards, local ale, a pool table (octagonal at my favourite pub), billiards and darts. Bliss. FWIW I'm not yet 30.

Putting aside your massive gheyness for a moment; for realsies?! I can't think of an actress any more replaceable than Zellweger, she's... I'm not even sure there's a word to describe how awful she is. Terribad? Atrocinormous? Gigantuturd? If I can just squeeze past my massive gheyness for another second....... Who would you have had instead? She is fitter as a the "fat" Ms Jones than skinny in Me, Myself & Irene for example. Managed the accent well...... really can't see an alternative. Is it shit acting or a shit film? There is a difference. -
