  1. Is that not standard business practice, though? Do you really expect the club to sit around and say, "Oh, well they will come if they want, we will not bother soliciting the tickets to them at all." They're rung me at least 6 times now. Someone claimed we'd sold 25k not long ago, dream on The only way they'll shift tickets is by showing some ambition. Getting a new manager is one thing, but if you don't give him the tools to do his job there's not much point I think a lot of supporters have simply just heard it all before, and have finally decided to sit back and say 'impress me'. My money is hard earned, show me why i should put it in your pocket Randy We don't have millions, or even billions of inheritance to make up for another season of football depression sadly Ahem.... the manager should have the tools to do his job.... he has the management skills required to get the best performance out of his team. Recruitment is a part of that process but not the only part. If I were to get the Barca managers job I guarantee you they would not be winning La Liga this year. Not sure how relevant how Randy came by his money is to your decision not to renew your ST. (Plus if you go to more than 10 home games you will be putting more money into "Rany's pocket" than you would have by buying a ST. ALSO the "Randy's pocket" think is a bit of a myth since the Operational Losses sustained by Villa come directly OUT of Randy's pocket.....
  2. Well yeah you were a bit... but I like new Richard so please don't change. You also have the best Avatar on the forum. and you smell nice.
  3. He has been hasn't he? Holman, KEA, Lowton, Vlaar and Guzan all in. Do you seriously call that being backed and then some ? He's only got those in as we've got rid of Heskey, Cuellar, Collins, Beye off the wage bill I think we've spent about 5m net tops so far. Unbelievable after the horseshit Faulkner fed about the club learning from their mistakes and knowing what they had to do this summer. This side has nearly been relegated in the last two seasons. Yet we're still not trying to replace the quality that Randy sold off. The fact the club are still ringing around asking folks if they're renewing worries me too. Doesn't sound like all is well does it Roll on Saturday 1) He's got rif off crap deadwood. Positive. 2) Amount of money is spent it irrelevant. Its what he does with what he CAN spend that matters. Exhibit A - David Moyes at Everton manages to perform consistently on **** all money. 3) The clubs top players were sold predominantly because they wanted to go. Not one was sold against their will. The club made an operating loss of what £54m? That is not sustainable and nor should it be. I would also hazard a guess that poor managers and injuries are more responsible for the relegation battle than the loss of Milner/Young and Downing. 4) A business trying to maximise sales of its product? Christ you're right, we're ****. The end is nigh. :bonk:
  4. It does not make a sound if you do it right. I used to drive for a living and jumped in and out of up to 10 different cars a day. Once you are moving you don't need a clutch. As long as you don't stop moving its fine. I had a clutch go halfway back from Bedford to Redditch but still got home or after 2 or 3 hundred miles I just got a bit lazy some days, if high powered then the clutch is heavy after hours and hours so made sense to me. Ahhh if they were work cars I believe Rule 7 "Drive 'em like you stole 'em" applies. But I aint going to find out if you're right in mine.
  5. By your logic "Ins" at any stage could be disruptive. So could "Outs" **** it, lets not sign anyone and go with what we've got.
  6. whats that all about surely that cant be right that he's dossing about while we are paying his wages???, That website appears to be as reliable as a Stephen Ireland gerandmother story........
  7. He has been hasn't he? Holman, KEA, Lowton, Vlaar and Guzan all in. Granted we've let a fair few go, but he can't say he hasn't been able to buy his own players. The real test is that we clearly need more. Our squad may have the numbers but in terms of quality/experience we are wafer thin.
  8. ^^ Huh?! Isn't that how you **** up the syncromesh? Surely its foot off gas, depress clutch, select gear, release clutch, back on the gas?
  9. A man that decorates his girls bedroom like a fairytale Barbie Castle and lies about two dead grandmothers is hardly likely to be quoting Proust You wouldn't expect a man who stubs out cigars in a team-mates eye, has done time for common assault and affray as well as having a record of assault occasioning ABH, and is currently serving a 10 week game ban for violent conduct to quote Nietzche. But thats google for you.......
  10. This. Of course. But the engine noise tends to match the speed. If you were doing 70mph in 4th the Engine would be crying like a little bitch Nah.... Wiggy always makes that noise when I drive "fast" :winkold:
  11. Surely you drive to the engine noise/rpm rather than the speed you are doing?

Nah Wiggy himself was busy with those two! :winkold:  Wiggy was busy with the pool boy's baby? :wow:
  13. You wouldnt have needed to since you would have probably bought most of your music via iTunes. The Amazon MP3 store is pretty good FWIW

  15. I figured it needed clarifying after I mentioned that I told her I WOULD keep trying to stick my dick in her To be fair to Dante, once he'd shoved her knickers in her mouth, everything she "said" sounded like consent anyway.

Meltdown from at least one member of the Villa Talk Communist Party in 5......4......3......2........1........... Not this one. I agree with him. To be fair Mike, I always seen you in the Liberal wing of the Party. FWIW I agree too. Most football fans are knuckle dragging inbreds.

  19. My main issue with Jessie J is that she's a talented guitarist/folksy singer who sold her soul for a record deal and went out Brrrrrraping her way to fame and fortune at the behest of some A&R man.
  20. A woman in a Kentish branch of a well known shoe shop with her 8 year old (ish) twin boys. One in this seasons Manyoo kit. One in this seasons Citeh kit. Pair of words removed.

I take it you missed the Spain v France basketball match then? It was like the Premier League only taller.

^^ Sort of with you there Mike. IMO it should not be separated from the main Games. The two should run side by side or not at all. All a bit after the Lord Mayor's show tbh.
  23. Spot on Stevo. It all felt a bit half arsed. Mrs E works with some of the NHS volunteers from the Opening Ceremony, they all got call a week into the Games asking them to help out with the closing ceremony. Looked a bit of a last minute job all through tbh.
