I'm not disputing the usefulness of more space, but to trump the legroom benefit quite as much as has been done seems really daft. If it was 20" I would be celebrating with you but 2? I know they're all likkle over there but seriously? Notwithstanding the fact that a slight change to the angle of the rear seats would completely negate the improvement in legroom anyway. Even airlines offer you more than 2" extra. when skinning you for "Premium Economy" seats or above. Anyway, enough talk of additional 2 inches. Its making me feel inadequate. Its a lovely car, and I love Landy very very much. (would still buy a Disco with the ££ though! Yeah but in China, everyone who can afford a Range is chauffeur driven. So any extra leg room you can give them is a huge benefit. In terms of car sales in China, that leg room really was an Achilles heel. Ok 2 inches isn't a lot, but if it's the difference between your knees hitting the seat in front and them not hitting the seat in front (which it is for the average male), then it's massive. Plus, even more leg room will be available at a later date, although I'm not sure I'm allowed to talk about that. Hadn't thought of it from that pov - but a "Stretch Range?" hmmm.... where I live thats a horse box! :TallyHo:
  2. Have to agree, on the pitch, where it matters we haven't progressed as a club after being sold. Which considering how much hatred there was for doug makes it so strange that so many are happy to just accept what ever Lerner serves up. Doug's last summer transfer window, where he was hated by villa fans, where the majority were desperate for him to leave, where once again he was criticised for his lack of ambition, our net spend on transfer fees for players was around £7.5 million. Our current net spend for this window is around £5.7 million. To be fair the comparison is hugely disingenuous. Randy has invested a huge sum of money into the club, not just on the playing staff, but facilities and infrastructure. Undoubtably he has made mistakes (2 managerial appointments and letting MON run up the most disgraceful wagebill in the PL bar Leeds Utd, but I would still take him every day of the week over deadly. There is still 2.5 weeks of transfer window to go, I would expect we will improve significantly on the £5.7m you have quoted at present.

Looks really good. Far far better than that stupid squashed Freelander thing. I like. BUT the above quote. What. The. ****. Seriously? You've made the car 2inches longer and you are claiming to have cured the Achilles Heel of rear passenger space. **** off you marketing knobler.
  5. Its all bollocks but £1m for Warnock? I say we negotiate to 500k + Hutton to make sure..... then I'll **** carry him myself.
  6. You little scamp, you've got us all thinking Clicky When in fact you mean Clicky
  7. If I had the time I would create a gif of some NASA astronauts pissing themselves.
  8. Yeah, because the Christian faith is all about tolerance.
  9. Works on mine! Maybe your computer needs a break from Himalayan moose porn! :winkold:
  10. I figured it needed clarifying after I mentioned that I told her I WOULD keep trying to stick my dick in her  "I would keep trying to stick my dick in her" class and charm allllllllllllllllllll the way. Seriously Dante, that should be on a t-shirt or a coffee mug. Maybe a bumper sticker. Good lord the women you boys know!!! But hey, if it works it works. You live in Florida, so this won't make any sense.... but I read that in a really broad Southern accent. :|
  11. In an attempt to make your point you've compared signing 3 non-league players with signing a 50-odd cap Aussie international and Aussie player of the year from one of the Netherlands' bigger clubs. And, by the by, one of; if not our best player in pre-season. Lerner backed his manager in buying a fairly good player, not a nobody. A player who might become key for us. Of course you can question Lerner. We've already established that no matter what the hell he does, there will be people in here who will question him. I'm just saying that those questions, at some point, will fall on deaf ears because whatever credibility is there will be long gone. Can Lerner do more? Of course he can. Until he signs Messi technically he can always 'do more'. But is Holman, Vlaar, KEA and a promising youngster the kind of signing we at Villa should be seeing at this stage? Yes I think it is, and for that I think Lerner is backing his manager. If we were habitually signing non-league players then no I don't think that would be the case.
  12. I had wondered who'd bought the match-worn Postma kit.
  13. I bet you were the sort of kid that peeked at his Christmas presents too weren't you? Jeez. The transfer window closes in 2 1/2 weeks time. If the squad is the same at that point bitch away and in fact, I'll join you but until such point please refrain from bringing the rest of us down with you. McLeish signed Holman Lambert joined Villa on 2nd June. Holman joined Villa on 1st July. Lambert signed Holman. If he didn't want him he had a month to say so.
  14. The football fans obsession with amount spent on transfer fees as an indication of a clubs ambition and the quality of the player.
  15. And this statement is one of the most trotted out lines which never ceases to piss me off. When it comes to football, define ambition, please. Every person has their own opinion of what demonstrates ambition. For one, I am pleased the club sacked McLeish, brought in a young up and comer in Lambert, and has signed the likes of Holman, KEA, Lowton, Vlaar, and Guzan. To me this demonstrates ambition on behalf of the club already in that we are looking to move forward and improve, but obviously you disagree. Obviously the club cannot sit there and say oh we need to spend 10 million here and another 15 million here because we must show the ambition that Supporter XYZ demands or else we won't sell tickets. It is just a load of bollocks. **** THIS all day long.
