  1. For the record, in our last 15 PL games, we've won 3. Against relegated Norwich and Burnley then against a terrible strikerless Everton.
  2. An out of form, goal shy West Ham who were there for the taking show up to your neck of the woods and you lose without really giving the keeper a save to make. This is the sort of game that ends reigns and it absolutely should here too.
  3. It's over. There is absolutely no reason or possible explanation to not sack him tomorrow. He's had time, he's had money and we still appear to have no gameplan and the performances have been dire both as a team and largely, individuals too. It hasnt worked and its not working. They board need to do what has to be done.
  4. We've barely created anything. Everytime they attack right now they're looking dangerous. We've just done the whole "hit loads of bad crosses in" that we were doing against Bournemouth in the first game and was just as ineffective then.
  5. Fabianski has had very little to do, which is a concern.
  6. The way West Ham look here, this is an absolute must win game. They are there for the taking and that's an understatement.
  7. Out of nowhere, a convincing 3-0 win. For Villa before someone makes a smart remark!
  8. Jesus the doom and gloom in here. You sound like Everton fans ffs. I dont mind the team. Buendia was rubbish against Palace so glad to see Coutinho back. How McGinn is automatic choice is beyond me. Win today and things look a lot better. I'm in the Gerrard out camp too but he's here and it's our team so support them instead of whingeing before a ball is kicked.
  9. You knew exactly what Bailey was going to do the second he got the ball for the goal. Very Arjen Robben esque the way he was always does that. He's a very good finisher. Unlucky at the weekend to only rattle the bar too.
  10. Well if nothing else, Buendia's performance yesterday should quieten down the "Buendia should start every game and everything will be great" crowd. Here's a newsflash guys, maybe, just maybe the reason Buendia and Coutinho cant hit consistent top form isnt because of them, maybe there's an underlying root cause and we all know what it is.
  11. No they didnt. Digne is a good player but he's playing poorly, like everyone atm. Cash hasnt been any better. With a new manager they will both suddenly become good again, no doubt about it.
  12. Everything about Gerrard has been said but defensively we are a complete joke. Panicking constantly, cant clear it, opened up for fun, no composure. Oh and we look toothless in the final third and our crossing is abysmal.
  13. Losses I can take. I mean its our bread and butter but there has been zero improvement on last season. I still dont know what we're trying to do and how we're trying to do it. Changing the personnel and shape hasnt changed anything. I dont see now how we avoid the fact that Gerrard clearly isnt the right man for the job and he's now had enough time. I said he needed to start well and he hasnt. We scraped a win against a crap Everton and have been utter shite in the other two games.
  14. Be careful. It's dangerous to say that around here. Everything was going to be great when Buendia was selected to start. People wont like that reality.
  15. People need to stop complaining about the pen. His arm was in an unnatural position. It's a blatant pen. We'd be screaming if it wasn't given for us.
  16. The positives are that we scored a nice goal and are still in the game. This is a tricky game so a draw wouldn't be a bad result. However we are riding our luck and if it wasn't for Emi, we would be losing. I don't fancy us to hang on for 45 minutes, we need to start giving as good as we're getting.
  17. That is vintage Villa. Didn't even get to enjoy the lead before we shit the bed.
