Just listening on how knowledgable Purslow is. He is going to be an asset to this club.

Christian Purslow business wise knows his stuff and he has good knowledge of football.
He has been on the Sky Sports Debate show several times.
He would be a very good appointment.
-
Green is going to tear league one's backside.
He needs first team football.

Good decision

I find it hilarious that the Bristol City /Derby county forums are pretty much seething at our transfers, wishing that we make a mess of things..

Apparently Bruce is not interested in signing a CB.
If this is the case i hope the backroom staff will work on the positioning of our back four. It appears that Bruce is aware that we are going to concede a lot this season so he is ensuring that we score more than we concede.

He is back!
I will still bring Tommy Abraham though

It took Johnstone 6 months to find a lot of those attributes you just mentioned.

Fair point guys!

He is a key part to our high pressing play.
I really like him he is a very influential player.
He could be captain in a few years.

Cannot fault him..
We played very well high pressing football.
Our defence needs sorting.
I would be on the phone to Huth after this match.

I am not convinced by him whatsoever
He lacks everything that we had in Sam Johnstone last season.
Lacks presence, distribution,aggression and belief.

Poor corner from Grealish
-
Green is feeling the pressure.

Steve Bruce and Alex McLeish learned from the best manager of his time. Hardly a ringing endorsement
Oh i never knew that they were part of Fergie's backroom staff?

I also think Arteta has a big future in the world of management.
He is simply learning from the best there is at the moment.
I would be surprised if we ever considered him to be our manager because many would consider him a big risk.

If Huddersfield sack Wagner after poor start we would swoop immediately.
The fact Huddersfield stayed up last season is extraordinary. Their team is Championship quality.
I would love for this to happen.
But Huddersfield would never sack him.
They cannot attract anything better than Wagner.

Why do people think that Dean Smith is the mastermind in how Brentford play?
He is their head coach..
They have a head of philosophy at their club for one.

We know deep down that Bruce is not going to get us promoted.
However we are in a sticky situation, we need suitable replacements to become available.
We also need a CEO and DOF to identify the suitable replacement that suits their vision for this football club.
I cannot see bruce being sacked until we have top level appointments.
-
This is the most important signing for the club imo.
After watching the All or Nothing - Manchester city series you can see how involved the Chairman is with the CEO and director of football which then trickles down to the pitch.
Our owners are going to have to bring someone to the club that they can trust and have extensive football knowledge.
As much as i am not keen on Bruce.
A CEO and a DOF are going to be the ones that can critically assess Bruce and find a suitable replacement.
We just have to be patient on this one.
Sawris & Edens will not be mucking about. They want us promoted within two seasons.

If we do not loan him this season his development will continue to stagnate.

That is the major issue.
He has recognised our flaws since he has been here and to this date nothing has changed.
This is why fans are becoming frustrated.
Because he is the creator of his own problems here and he lacks the ability to make necessary changes.

The staff have not managed him properly imo.
The boy is nearly 20 and has hardly played first team football.
He should be going out on loan.
He is lacking a lot of experience for first team football.
He could bang 50 goals for the under 23's it still won't make him a better player.
He needs to play non-league or league two football and graft it out.

3 wins in a row..
Against weak opposition and we still look unconvincing.
I just cannot see this team getting promoted with Bruce in charge.
It's shameful that we continue to look this poor for nearly two years of his management.
We will be found out against better opposition in this league.
Let's see how long Bruce and co can ride this gravy train for..

This match is just showcasing the problems that bruce has brought upon himself.
He has been here for nearly two years and he hasn't signed a centre back for more than a one year contract..
And he talks about stability..

New Manager Speculation
in Villa Talk
Posted
Bruce will not last until next month.
As someone said in the above post.
Purslow and the owners care about what happens on the pitch and the entertainment factor.
They will cut him off soon, however the question is who will it be?
