Big fan of this lad. He is mature for his age and has shown leadership qualities during his youth team days.

I have had a little look on the Swindon forum and they are disappointed but some feel that he is not fully ready to make the step up due his inconsistent performance and his output of 1 goals and two assists in all appearances.

Gerrard wants his youth players to learn how the first team plays so they are easily integrated and may feel that Swindon do not play to a similar style as us. Therefore by recalling him Gerrard can take a closer look at him and send back to somewhere that is best suited to him or keep him here for the remainder of the season.

When Targett was brought to this club it wasn’t to be a top 10 left back.

He was brought in because he was better than Neil Taylor by miles.

We are now at the level where we need an upgrade.

He is a high level coach, doesn’t have the resources at Southampton. He will do a great job for us.

From what I have seen, the positioning, defence, patterns of play.. he won’t be able to turn that around.

I do feel that the coaches brought in haven’t helped, Clearly Terry and O’ Kelly brought a lot to this squad and he is missing them.

We need a top class manager, I don’t know who could replace him.

Buendia has been a flop so far 

I like stability and I love seeing Villa win.

I hope we win this and DS can turn this season around.
