Really hope that Bailey is putting pressure on Buendia in training.

He is definitely more suited as part of a back 3 or DM.
Defensively he is not at the level of Konsa but he is having a decent game thus far.

I think the goal against Brentford was enough to make him our number striker.
Buendia slipped a beautiful ball to his feet.
He has better movement and finishing. One thing Watkins had over him was the press but Watkins doesn’t do that as much now so..

Watkins is one of the players that doesn’t want to be here.
His body language is negative, he doesn’t press the same way, always moaning at team mates and he doesn’t celebrate when he scores.
It’s a shame because when he first joined he was an honest player. I would start Ings ahead of him.

I feel like with the Watkins and Ings issue, we can afford to have them building chemistry this season but next season it has to work.

The two number 10’s are not working.
We are playing to narrow, overly relying on our full backs that currently lacking quality.
When the full backs push forward stretches our midfield that are covering the full back position, that leaves space in the middle and vulnerable at the back .
Offensively we are not stretching teams because we play too narrow, so it’s very easy for teams to park the bus and catch us on the counter.
Gerrard Ball has easily been sussed at this level.
