I am caught between two sides.

I am trying to reserve my judgment until Spring next season.

But with what Gerrard is trying to build so far, I don’t like the look of it. We look far more imbalanced than we did with Dean Smith.

Coutinho has been a blessing but realistically he is a luxury player and our foundation at the moment is not as strong as we thought.

This summer and Pre Season is going to be very interesting indeed.

I just don’t want us to end up like Everton..

I still stand by what i said a few months ago.

We need two new CB's, A holding midfielder and a quality passing CM.

Mings & Konsa are not at the level that we are trying to reach.

I think that we could sway him.

But it’s all up in the air at the moment.

I feel like we do not need any big names, I look at Everton and that prospect worries me.

We need players that are competitive and bring quality to the first team.

We will see what type of manager Gerrard is if he tries to sign Wijnaldum & Suarez.. 

If he could add goals at premier league level he would our number 1 striker.

No defender at any league level enjoys playing against him 

Douglas Luiz has never scored a free kick for us, so why is he taking a direct one?

Arsenal are the much better side.

They have kept the fans quiet as well as they have kept the ball.

The goal has come from the left which is a weak position for us at the moment.

Buendia was brought in the side to press, he hasn’t started pressing until we went a goal down. That’s poor from him..

This game is showing us where we are in terms of quality and consistency.

Offensively we have been poor, have we had an attempt on goal?

Our build up play has been poor, instead of Mings and Konsa playing the ball out, our midfielders are picking the ball out very deep. This is leaving a big gap between Watkins and the rest of our midfield.

Having said that, Watkins is not very good at holding up the ball and laying it off consistently and the ball gets caught between his feet when we break..

We have a team that is 13th - 9th

We are lacking physically and aerially.

West Ham were the better side because they had a blend between physicality and and technical ability.

We need some steel in the middle of the park, even up front we need some height. 

It will be interesting to see is if Gerrard stacks our team with superstars or whether he leaves enough holes in the squad for our youth players to fill.

Said a few months back that we will be in for Kalvin Phillips this summer and I still stand by that.

Only problem is that he is not a durable player, maybe it was the style he played under Bielsa.

If he stays fit and  have more players on his wavelength.  We cannot underestimate the quality of teams around us that will strengthen. 

Controversial, he isn’t worth 30 mil a year if we are missing out on Europe..

That is the type of money Top 4 clubs that sells merchandise worldwide pay. That is not our level.

I can see him impressing during Pre Season and getting a move to a Championship club next season

i think it’s a bit of both, but in order to be successful in this league you have to stretch teams and we aren’t doing that unless we hit teams on the counter.

If United bid £60 million we should snap their hands off.

He is going to end up doing a summer clear out which I don’t think is necessary..

His philosophy is not working at this level..

He needs stop with the two 10’s

If we scrape relegation survival he needs to be gone before pre season..

I’m very worried with this man in charge.
